About RadCompendium

I am a radiologist with experience across oncology practice, corporate healthcare, teleradiology, government hospitals, and private imaging centers. Working in these diverse environments has provided firsthand insight into the challenges radiologists face daily—from increasing reporting volumes and repetitive tasks to workflow inefficiencies, scattered reference resources, and variability in reporting practices.

The idea behind RadCompendium emerged from a simple observation: while radiology continues to advance rapidly, many reporting workflows remain fragmented and inconsistent. My experience participating in tumor boards and oncology reporting at Tata Memorial Hospital highlighted the value of structured reporting and clinically integrated workflows, while also revealing a significant gap between specialist centers and routine radiology practice.

Over the past couple of years, I have actively explored artificial intelligence and healthcare technology as tools to address these challenges. While many healthcare products are built primarily from a technology perspective, I strongly believe meaningful solutions must begin with a deep understanding of clinical workflows. As a practicing radiologist involved in the design of every workflow on this platform, my goal is to ensure that technology serves genuine clinical needs rather than the other way around.

RadCompendium is an effort to bring these experiences together—combining radiology expertise, structured knowledge, workflow design, and thoughtfully applied AI to create practical tools for everyday reporting. Equally central to this vision is radiology resident education—building accessible, structured learning resources that help bridge the gap between training and real-world reporting, while supporting the next generation of radiologists in developing strong reporting fundamentals and clinical reasoning.

Although many current initiatives draw inspiration from oncology practice, the broader vision extends across radiology. Having spent much of my career as a general radiologist, I believe similar workflow improvements can benefit every subspecialty.

I am grateful for the colleagues and contributors who are a part of this journey. Meaningful progress in radiology is rarely achieved in isolation, and RadCompendium is envisioned as a collaborative effort to help advance reporting quality, efficiency, and education for radiologists everywhere.
